A little love goes a long way. A few tips to help your bag age gracefully:
- Canvas & Leather: A little patina is part of the charm! Spot clean with a damp cloth or with waxed canvas cleaner —never machine wash or dry clean. After cleaning, gently warm the waxed canvas in the sun or use a blow dryer on low heat, keeping it moving, to soften and redistribute the wax and help blemishes fade. Light scuffs are natural and can often be buffed away with your fingers. Re-wax as needed to maintain the protective finish, and condition leather accents occasionally to keep them supple.
- The Basket: Easy cleanup is part of the beauty! Use ice packs instead of loose ice, and avoid letting liquids sit inside to protect the water-resistant seams. Simply wipe clean with mild soap and water, then dry completely before storing.
